Fix a Budget
The first step is to decide how much you can spend on your running shoes. There is a vast range of brands and types of running shoes available. The price range is also vast starting from the very basic to the very premium ones from the topmost brands. Once the budget is final, you can confine your search within those limits. However, in order to buy a good and durable pair, it’s important to fix the budget within a reasonable limit.
Find the Right Fit
Feet grow and change shape over time due to age, weight gain or weight loss, injuries, and other physical conditions. So try on the shoes every time before you buy. Shoe sizes also differ a bit from brand to brand. Thus, a Nike size10 might not fit as well as Reebok size 10. Walk and jog around to see how well the shoe offers your feet support. For running shoes, make sure to try the shoes on while wearing your running shoes. Feet tend to swell during running, and with the socks on, you should leave enough room for a comfortable fit. You should have about a thumb’s width of space at the end of the toe box beyond your longest toe. Make sure to buy a pair that allows some wiggle room. Buy shoes that offer good ventilation for those long runs to avoid smelly feet.
Brands are not always the best
Buy shoes that fit your feet and your budget. While brands do advertise their shoes very well, there is no reason why you can’t find an excellent pair that comes from a lesser known brand. As long as you get top quality and a perfect fit within your budget, you can safely trust a good shoe manufacturer that’s not quite as famous. Try on a lot of shoes from various manufacturers to find the most perfect one’s for you.
